Forward by Aimee
Actually, this is my own speech, but reminded me that it was what reminded her of me, so here it is. Ah fate, you fickle bastard, why do we live just to do with so many things unfulfilled. Ah t'is Aimee the hardest strucken by fate, for she took a quiz which took an unexpected turn, pronouncing her as an angel of death, and as such her counterpart the Fiend Frager, who when the worst time is upon him chooses to fall in love, they who fall into this river that which we call fate are the most unluckiest of men, and no truer word could be spoken, for as life hands you a blessing it hands you destruction. Such is life, and such is fate. We call this unfortunate thing life, and the luckiest thing those two may face is the ever present thing known as death, to sleep eternally arm in arm, hand in hand, the gruesome twosome, that is fate.
My Own Thoughts
Well, I'm always down on myself so of course I'm gonna say these are bad, but, it's been a year, and to celebrate I'm gonna make this book. And, I don't have much to say here, so, just enjoy, and tell me what you think... Please be as harsh as need be.
Now The Actual Poems
Fox of Desire
In the forest of truest hearts,
A creature of love resides,
Souls united by this beast,
A mighty creature yet so small,
Living life content and free,
The fox of desire flicks it tail,
And the tale of love begins,
However the forest of truest,
And the forest of terrible truths,
Lie so close together in this world,
The fox always the joker and trickster,
Too much desire to one person,
And cheating then insues,
And in the forest of terrible truths,
Lies the vixen in disguise,
A temptress and a tease,
To counteract the fox you see,
T'is not your fault to sin,
The fox and vixen take the blame,
So be wary of this dangerous duo,
Desire and some pretty legs,
Their next victim might be you.
The Other Side of Love
Break the chains that bind you,
And fall into the depths of love,
Find the truth within your soul,
To forgive me for my mistakes,
Because when you find me,
I'll be waiting for you,
On the other side of love.
If I Had a Girl & the Shattered Heart(two poems)
If I had nothing,
Would I be something,
If I lost my girl,
Would I be a playa,
If I lose my money,
Will I be a loser,
If I lose everything,
Would I be something?
(second verse/stanza, thingy)
But what if I had it all,
Would I be everything,
If I had 10 girls,
Would I be everything,
If I had all my money,
Would I be a winner,
If I got everything,
Would I be everything?
(third verse/stanza thingy)
With everything I have,
And everything I don't,
All I wish I had,
Was something to call my own,
Money isn't anything,
Things aren't worth it,
Only my girl is something,
That will make me feel like everything.
(2nd poem)
In the beginning of today
I had high hopes this day,
But now they're all gone,
As I sit on the lawn,
In a freaked out state,
I think of my mate,
A girl named Shattered,
I knew it really mattered,
So I called her up,
And said what's up?
She said real sad,
That her mom was mad,
Now I can't see her anymore,
And I sank to the floor,
With a tear in my eye,
I didn't even try,
To stand or move,
Cause I feel heart broken.
Feeling Empty
I wake up and realize,
I'm living in the past,
My glory of the old days,
Never looking at now,
Or tommorow,
I'm an empty shell,
Theres nothing inside,
But a broken man,
Commited a crime,
Now it's time,
I look back,
I can't think,
I can't walk,
Can't talk,
Just living life,
Wishing for my prime.
World of Hate
In a world unfair,
All that keeps me there,
Is a heart of rage,
I can't learn too care,
There are no lines to learn,
And in this ignorance,
I learn the bliss,
It cannot miss,
Blind eyes that follow me,
To the grave unseen,
I walk along a path unknown to me,
And in this endless road,
I learn to hate,
More than I even know...
