Advice For Parents: 10 Purals of wisdom from kids to parents[/u] By child psychologist Dr. J.S. Salt - Worked with over 2,000 kids from age 5-12.
((Poster's Note:: Since this advice is from children, grammar maybe be bad... Nonetheless, these are brilliant and the children were deeper in thought than we could really know..)) 1. Think when you were a kid and not yell so much. 2. Be proud of me even if I didn't get all the answers right. 3. Tell me a story about when you were young. 4. Let me have more sleep overs. 5. Say, "it would help if you do it this way," instead of, "you're doing it wrong." 6. Don't spoil me and then yell at me later for being spoiled. 7. Attend all of my special events and occasions. 8. Tuck me in and read to me more. 9. Don't be afraid to let me fail, but always let me try. 10. Accept me just the way I am.
